For many individuals and families living paycheck-to-paycheck, we provide the clothing their incomes do not allow for. While we cannot address the systemic issues contributing to reduced housing affordability, inflation and conditions contributing towards diminished quality of life, we can provide a greater sense of dignity and social inclusion through access to quality clothing.

Your donations help fund our courier costs that transport clothing to our regions and charity partners outside of Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, and our insurance and lease that supports activities such as sorting, repair and re-circulation. Your donations keep clothing access free.

Please consider supporting these efforts by donating.

Common (previously Koha Apparel) is an approved charity. All donations over $5 are tax-deductible.

If you are donating as an individual, you can claim donation tax credits. See tax credits for donations (external link) — Inland Revenue

You can also make donations through your salary or wages. You will automatically receive a tax credit for each donation, reducing your PAYE. For further information on payroll giving, visit Inland Revenue.

Double your impact. Will your workplace match your donations? Ask your employer if they have a Matching Gift Programme.

If you are a business, you can receive tax credits for donations. Submit a donation receipt (external link) — Inland Revenue
